for this title I did not write up. because this is how people said about this village. Panglipuran is one of the traditional village that exist in Bali Island. that time me and some friends traveling to Kintamani, of course for taking a bath in the Batur area and eat some snack while watching the amazing view of mount Batur. this is the typical activity while hanging out in the Batur Area. Plus we visiting the Batur geopark since two of my friends are geologist Engineer. after that we have some of time and we decide to visit the village. actually this is not my favorite type of traveling but I never go there, so why not. So here we are.

How to Get to Panglipuran Village?
This village quite famous. Because when we arrive there, there are so many people who walk along the street to go to this village. from where we are in Batur Geopark, just go down to the south. for easy way, let me share you this google maps link. just click it and you know where it is.

this village located in Kubu, Bangli, Bali. Located almost at the center of Bali Island. not too far away from batur, so if you come from Denpasar like most tourist do, and want to visit the Batur or Kintamani Area, you can visit this village too in one way. it is only 55 km from Ngurah Rai Airport and in a clear road, you can go there in about 1 hour 30 minutes.
How Much The Ticket?
Since I have complain for review a lot of things for just location and I know almost all of you can read and use the google map now days, I will explaining the main concern of economic people. money.
this is the part to you almost needed because it can be a cruel reason you will go in or not. so let me just said in the first paragraph of this writing. not much you can do for visiting this village. just walk around and watching the similar building everywhere in hot shiny sun. so for who searching an adrenaline adventure, this is not the place. but if you bring your children or your whole family, maybe this place can be one on your bucket list.
the ticketing are quite cheap. it is divided by age and nationality.
For the Indonesian People:
Adult = Rp.25.000,00 or about 1.8 American Dollar
Child = Rp. 20.000,00 or about 1.4 American Dollar
For Foreign (Not Indonesian) People:
Adult = Rp. 30.000,00 or about 2.1 American Dollar
Child = Rp. 25.000,00 or about 1.8 American Dollar

I have no idea why people dividing price like that. But this is happen almost in all vacation places in Bali and other Island. I have a story about some tourist that come from Canada asking 'why they have to pay more than people from this country' and the answer is not good. but that was another story. it is same for coming to visit this village. is it worth it? just check below what you can do inside the village.
What Can We Do at Panglipuran Traditional Village?
There are several places when you really enter the village. The subyectivety title of this village is 'The Cleanest Village in The World' and this is not 100% wrong. There are two main gate that you can through. The north and the south. Me and my friend come from the north because it is near with parking place. After paying the ticket, we are arrived in the Village's temple. It is on the upper side of the village.
In front of the Hindu Temple, there are a cottage that contains of many traditional music tools. People can try to play this traditional music and sometimes the village people also playing this music when in several times a day. After that you can see almost all the village view from that point because you are in the highest place of the village. It is good photograph if you can go there while nobody there, but in my case, it was very crowded and fully of tourist walking in main road. 34 degree Celcius also become another trouble. It was very hot and crowded. So the first impression of this place is hot and crowded. Maybe it just because the time when we get there. In the afternoon or in the early morning would be better.
the gate of each houses are similar. it has brown colour with some moss in the side. since this village become tourist object,people who lived here try to make some add money by selling some stuff,food, and some souvenirs. you will see many houses that provide some various places For tourist to enjoying the village. I also see a house that provide balinese clothes rent if you want to make a photograph in this village wearing balinese traditional clothes. food and drink are also provided along the main road. so don't you worry if you start feeling hungry or thirsty while visiting this village.
the next one is about the toilet.when we get there, suddenly I want to pup. that time was very crowded and there are so many people visiting that village that day.maybe it could be reach hundred or thousand people that day who visiting that village. you wont see a public toilet around and imagine if there are only few public toilet with this so many people here, it would be need so many public toilet in several places. unfortunately, I can't find any of them. So I start to ask to a villager who stand by in front of the houle. "sir, can l ask where is the public toilet?". with a smile he pleased me to. come in to his house and use his toilet.So in this village, you can use and enjoy the toilet in every single house when you pleased by the owner. That was very unique and interesting manner.
That was quite a long story but honesty, it was not quite fun since they provide little kind of attraction for tourist and the weather is very hot. In the middle of the village, there is some cottage that can be used for rest. You can also rent house if you want to stay a night in this village. I don't know what will you get at night in this village. Maybe you can get another situation village night. You can rest in this cottage or in the house. They provide some electricity too for charging your electronic stuff here. That was all I can explain about what I see and feel about walking in the most clean village in the world. Not too fun for me.
Bamboo forest and flower garden
There are some more attraction that provide by this village, you can see the sign such as the bamboo forest and flower garder. it was behind the hindu's temple. You will find a sign to a small road and directly go to the bamboo forest. it was a simple bamboo forest actually and not many you can see here. There are some sign that written the bamboo name and types on there. from the bamboo forest you can go through the asphalt road and walk to the parking area.
I review for honesty it was not too excited for me if I can compare this bamboo forest with one of famous bamboo forest in my home town Lumajang. it have a far different quality. in Lumajang bamboo forest, you can see furious kind of bamboo with a lot of cafe inside the bamboo forest. there is a pond that full of fish, and sometimes you can see a giant bat that called by local with Kalong. it is different story but it much better.
I dont visit the flower garden because it was not kind attraction that can attract and make me excited at all.
Loloh Cem- Cem traditional drink of Panglipuran traditional village
for the last one and maybe this kind of thing and the only thing here in this village that could make me feel interested. Loloh cem-cem is a traditional drink From this village. Local say as a 'jamu'. kind a drink that could make the consumer feel heathier. this drink have also some health Function. in this village, you can find and buy this drink in almost all part of this village. people that open a small cafe or Store in the houle almost all provide this drink.So you can find it everywhere.
Loloh cem-cem have a green color water. so it was look like a vegetable juice that pour in a bottle. this is not a kind of drink that kids would like to drink. if you buyone you need to shake it first before drink because the vegetable are suspended in the bottom of the bottle. I recommended that you buy cold one because the taste is better when it is cold. as the name, Loloh cem-cem ingredients are make From Cem-cem leaves for the main ingredients. it gives the green color of the water. the taste come from cogor that nix with salt so it ic an oralit drink and good for treat dehidration. there is a sour taste too. all mix into one bottle that produce an unique taste of drink. some people love this drink because it feels fresh. for you who don't like a sweet taste, they sell non sugar taste too. and it taste more sour.
for me it was not too good taste. but it wake my curiosity to taste that drink. when you visiting this village don't forget to try this drink and you won't regret it. it is only cost by Rp. 10.000,00 so it is quite cheap drink.
Okay that's all my review of this place. I can't even make a good photograph because the village is so crowded and so many people walk around. it's not a good object if you are an adventurer who love adrenaline adventure. but if you want to bring your family or children here, it is very suitable for them.
