This story happen after i came and visited Gili Trawangan. Got a crazy amazing milkway. But the main adventure are happen after that where I arrived back to Lombok island and contact with my guiding team to hike Rinjani Mountain. If i make this become a writing story, you and I actually think that it is a boring story, so i Wont tell the story, I wont describe about what is mountain and what is Rinjani, but let me share the photograph and some description about that photo and the struggle to take it.
First of all this is the main question of many people who see my story in Instagram after hike this mountain.

Are You Banned from Hiking Rinjani?
in August 2021, there is a regulation in mount Rinjani that the hiking limit for this period only for 3 days and 2 night. in basecamp where we do some registration, the officer ask about our equipment and supplies, it was a very good regulation here. after all of that checking, the officer reminded us that the hike only for 3 days and 2 night as long as pandemic Covid 19. after all of that, I ask to the officer, "how about if there is an accident, or tired, or something that can make us go back late from the schedule?" the officer said "It is okay as long as you confirm to the office that you late." after that he give me his phone number.
so what I want to say is there is a procedure that we need to fulfill to add more days, and it is an emergency reason. in the field on day 2, my team spread into 2 team. 2 people go back to the basecamp through the Pelawangan track, and the other rest go to the lake. unfortunately, there is some people exhaust in the lake and go down from Torean track need a lot of stamina. So, we choose a choice for stay a while in the lake and our guide called the officer. How?
in Pelawangan, there is a tower that I think consist of seismograph, web camera, and many other volcanology things. in this spot you will get easy phone signal as long as the cloud not covered around.

so the answer is no. you wont find my name in the web because of that situation although I stay there for another 1 day add. no it is not 1 day actually, it is only half day because we arrived in Torean in the night. but this things give a second similar question for the people and the strategy for time management to hike Rinjani Mountain.
"I get Banned Because I Start from Pelawangan Track (Sembalun) and Finish from Torean Track"
for this, I have a same fear for get banned because our plan to take Torean track for coming home too. but don't worry, you can call the officer if you get in Torean and in Torean there are phone signal, so tell them that you are finish the hike and arrived in Torean. I know the office are closed in the night, but don't worry about that. after you confirmed that you are arrived in Torean, the officer check you out that day from hiking. this is not finished yet. don't forget to get back to the Office in the morning to checking trash and many other.
Many hiker get banned because of this condition:
1. they don't confirmed to the officer
2. they already confirmed to the officer but not back to the office in the morning to trash checking.
so don't you forget about those two important things. we need to keep this beautiful mountain clean right? so do the officer.
if you get banned already, I think you can appeal by email them in link below. there is Whatsapp number for the admin and their email. but if you still get banned and your appeal are rejected, so be patience and try to hike this amazing place in another time after your banned name dissapear.
What The Memorable Moment of Pelawangan?
Pelawangan in my story covered with cloud and fog, I mean it was a lot of clouds. so I never though that the lake is far enough from here, I never though that Summit is hard enough from here. that was my first time stay in Pelawangan. we come in the afternoon at day one in this place with a very bad condition because some of our team had a bad condition that day. there was a doubt for some people to continued the hike. no view, just cloud and small rain. my favorite things in the sky, starts does not appear because the full moon. it was a bad luck for night photograph. So it was bad moment for me to start the hike.

No Sunset in day 1, just covered by all those clouds. in the night, we go summit. Let me say, there are a lot of mountain I have been hike in Indonesia, but for this is a long away path from Pelawangan. I talk about the distance from Pelawangan - Summit of Rinjani Mountain. this is so far away. Let me compare Argopuro that have the longest track in Java Island, but for the summit from Cisentor, last tend area is not as far as this place. so better to prepare all of the goods and another things for hiking. especially some food for add fatigue resistance.
the summit from here actually very hard in many reason. the track are full of sand and gravel, many places and spot that become too hard and steep because of landslides, and the most of all are long distance. for me, I actually pretty confident to my Hiking Ability and physical condition that day. with start from 01.00 Center Indonesia Time Zone, I miss the sunrise still. It is only about 200 m long to the top. so that was quite memorable moment to the top.
Let me tell you that moment is nonsense to this moment. in Pelawangan, we always at war against the nature. it was not like Everest movies where many people die because of weather condition. it is not kind nature like that. but we are at war with the local. not the people of Lombok Island or Sembalun, we at war with monkey. I don't understand why monkey are so rude here. they cut some tend and make a small hole for their small hand to take some food inside the tend, although there are so many people they don't care at all. for you who want to hike here, I give you recommendation to leave a people to take care the tend while you go summit. so the monkey keep stay away if the tend keeper keep say "shooo" to them.

Hard to Pup, In Pelawangan, People Pup in Front of the Camera
This part is one of my memorable moment actually. you know pelawangan is a place where this is the top of Old Rinjani Mountain Caldera. so this place is one of the top Rinjani. not the highest spot but still this is the top. for every human and every living creature, we need to get rid of digestive in body. this is the process of what we eat actually. in Trees, the process called photosynthesis and waste Oxygen. Human and animal waste pup. This is natural for a living creature. but the mai problem is we are human that have intelligence. pup in the nature? of course I do not need to explained it right?

In Pelawangan there is a seismograph spot. I know that was quite isolated from another hiker. but that was the spot for the people actually pup. I dont know how is the feeling of officer who check this place and full of pup everywhere. not stop at that moment, the pup are straggle everywhere. for an intelligence creature, people who do that things are very stupid. that was so sad because this place actually have an important function for people calling officer if there is an emergency situation. in another hand, there is some camera in this spot. and you people pup at this place? I dont know if the officer saw it and this is not a funny things.
So people, I know we love hike, we love adventure, we love photograph, and we love a beautiful memories. we are not exist forever, but this place? not forever but it much longer than us. please keep this places clean for a better future.
